Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds round steak, cubed
- 4 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 onion
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, quartered
- 3/4 cup pearl barley
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2. tsp. basil
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 cups beef broth

Instructions
- Combine all ingredients, place in a ziplock bag, and freeze. (If there is not enough room in your ziplock bag, you can omit the beef broth prior to freezing, and just add the 4 cups into your crock pot when ready to cook.)
Recipe Notes
Write on bag: Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
