Here’s another project that cost me nothing to make and kept a few items out of the landfill. All I needed was an empty coffee can, an old belt, and some paint and glitter, and now I have an upcycled holiday centerpiece!
You can probably tell just from the pictures how it’s all put together. All it takes is a coat of red spray paint, an old belt that is cut and then hot glued into place, and a ring of white glitter around the top and bottom of the can.
It could be used as a holder for a small tabletop tree, or as a “vase” for an arrangement of branches or flowers.
It’s amazing what you can create with stuff from the recycling and giveaway bin!
If you enjoy creating with “junk” you already probably have lying around your house, you should check out these other upcycled Christmas projects.
Like what you see? I’d love for you to follow along!
